The Roaming Robot Round Two (Mt. Fuji)

I'm not sure if this shot works with the clouds, or if it would have looked better on a clear day. For more Fuji shots check out days 21 and 22 on my website.

It's actually a personal slang term. Some strange mashup of 'freaking' and 'sweet'

Dude! Have you not learned anything from Burning Man? I am all for spreading the word of Instructables but you should be leaving a zero footprint, especially on Mt. Fuji, revered as a national treasure and landmark. I hope that you return to find it cleaned off or else that would lead to others doing the same in what I would call plain vandalism and graffitti of sorts. As you find yourself, please learn to respect the people and culture you admire so much.

i don't know what he stuck it on, but it looks to me like it is a piece of metal or something of that sort--not exactly natural disruption. you are right in your LNT (leave no trace) ideals, though.

It is probably a safety rail for the visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the place and meant to be as unobtrusive as much. I would expect a sticker in some tourist exploited place like Niagra Falls or maybe the new Grand Canyon lookout but to go high up in the mountains for solitude and away from urban sprawl/decay you would not want to see anything defaced, even if was only a small Robot sticker.

Then go in peace and may they have mercy on your soul...

I would be more impressed if you learned how to make an Origami Instructables Robot and took a picture of it on Mt. Fuji, maybe with the local denizens.
