The weekend.


Last week the English teacher made us watch this video in class:



So during the weekend, I downloaded the video off of Youtube, and remixed it into this:



Whaddya think?  This took about 7 hours to do.

I think creative endeavors such as a remix of this type are (generally speaking) great. I think it's cool that you saw something and decided to remake it as something that is fun for you, rather than spending that time zoning out (not that there's anything wrong with a certain amount of that).

I don't think it's 7 hours-of-your-time better than the original. A 30-60 sec clip would have done it.

I didn't think a short clip of it would have cut it. Besides that, I had to go and edit everything frame-by-frame to get the faces right. I've seen people do similar effects like that in Halo montages and they claim it takes them 5 hours, so 7 hours should be more than reasonable for an inexperienced Sony Vegas user.

I meant that you could have done a shorter clip and had half the time free. Maybe I don't quite get it...

It wouldn't be the same if you left out any part of the video besides the intro and credits.
