Instructables

There's been a problem updating your Instructable [object Object] error Service Unavailable

I get this when I go to edit my instructables

"There's been a problem updating your Instructable
[object Object]
error
Service Unavailable"

I cannot edit my instructables becuase of this and I get the "updating" progress bar that does not go away unless I use ad-block plus to force remove the object. But this makes the edit page half rendered and any edits do not save.

It happens in multiple web browsers.

What could be causing this?

Thanks.

I just tried to post a video instructable right now and got the same error message:

There's been a problem updating your Instructable
[object Object]
error
Service Unavailable

Please help!
Is this an Instructable that you have tried publishing/created since Friday?
Is there any other way to post my video instructable?
I first tried posting it on Sunday and have tried multiple times to go back and edit/ publish since then. I just tried again and still no luck.

It won't save the video embedding/ link (from youtube) and keeps deleting my description.

Sorry I have been away.

The problem actually went away on its own and I was able to publish the changes I made to the instructable. I can not remember what day it was exactly but since then it has done it again a number of times.

I am facing the same problem. I tried just now with a new video instructable and tried to upload a new photo my HDD and not even from my instructable library. Same error.
What should I do?
There was a fix pushed through yesterday. Please let me know if you are continuing to have issues.

Same here - this seems to be a new info box that pops up related to this problem. Been trying for a few days to post a new video Instructable, but haven't seen this message before.

There are a bunch of bugs affecting the new editor - HQ are busy working on them.

try re-installing java :)
I didn't have any real problems with the new stuff though.
I have the same issue too.
