Those Lousy Keyword popups!

It seems that on every page recently my browser (Firefox) is popping up a little 'image name/keyword' banner that is REALLY annoying. I suppose its possibly the java or something similar, but I'm NOT turning off my settings for one site. Alternatively, how about letting us turn that crap off in our profile settings. I really don't need it and I'm absolutely sure there are thousands of others who would appreciate that 'one click peace of mind' button being there. I'm a very active reader and I find myself avoiding this site whenever possible JUST for that reason.

These popups are a part of HTML, a title attribute, that we added primarily for search engines to index. Browsers handle them differently, sometimes from version to version, and none of the ones we've tested with seem to be as annoying as you are finding. We did some experimentation and found a way to get the search engine info into the page that doesn't show this popup at all, and we'll be putting that into the next release, in two or three weeks. Please let us know if it helps!

I am having the same problem with that little yellow "image name" box popping up. It does it whenever I put the cursor over an image. Instructables allows users to add those little highlighted boxes to images so we can get/give more information but I cannot read most of them because that bloody little yellow box pops up right on top of the information box. If I move the cursor off of the picture the little box goes away. Sometimes it will go away if I pause on the image long enough but most of the time I just get frustrated and forget it. It does it on my computer at home and at work. This is the only site I have ever seen such a thing on. Really annoying. I wish there was some way to disable it. Anyone got any ideas.
