Is there ANY way I can make a homemade MP3 player with a USB flash Drive, A headphone jack, and things like that? Is this possible? I have seen the instructable with an SD card...

I wouldn't say that you could base it on other questions that I have asked, however I would said this would almost impossible for me to do. I read about it. I thought that you could add some buttons a headphone jack and a battery and you could get it to play. "I DESPISE YOU, YOU STUPID MP3 DECODER!!!!!!!" I think it will be easier and cheaper to just buy one. ;)

> I wouldn't say that you could base it on other questions that I have asked . Granted, three samples isn't enough to make a definite determination, but I think I called it pretty close. . I wasn't trying to say you are stupid (lacking intelligence), merely ignorant (lacking knowledge). Ignorance can be fixed (ask questions, as you are doing); can't do much about stupid. ;) . > I think it will be easier and cheaper to just buy one. ;) . Yep. Especially if you don't already have a soldering iron, voltmeter, &c. . If you want to learn how to build such projects, I suggest starting with something like a 555 blinky-light circuit. They are one of the first projects just about every electronics neophyte builds - cheap and easy. Search here or on the 'Net for "555 schematic", "555 project", or just "555".

. Possible? Yes. But, judging by the questions you've been asking, not something for you to tackle. Search for "MP3 decoder hardware" for an idea of what's involved.
