Update from =SMART=
Hello everyone !
Wow instructables has changed quite a bit !
I haven't been around for quite a long time now, you may remember my forum topic about getting into university a while back (HERE)
Well after I got the place at the universities things started to fall apart in terms of school. I failed a subject in the first year so I had to squeeze in another year of work along with everything else in the second year. This was all just about working ok and i was struggling along. Then we decided to drop one subject half way through the second year (because it had become very math'y and that's not my strong point) and start the second year of the one I took up.
Also my school didn't diagnose my severe dyslexia (makes learning/writing/reading harder)
If you don't follow don't worry it still confuses me haha
Basically I ended up doing a year and a half of work for subjects that wouldn't count for anything.
And I then did an extra two years of work in less than a year.
It was very tough and unfortunately I had hardly any free time, thus the lack of Instructables.
Over this summer I have been waiting for the results that came out today, i was not feeling at all confident and spent most of my time dreading this day and fearing the worst. I didn't feel i did well in my exams and it turns out 1 in 3 people didn't get into their universities today :(
Results came and I received BBC, and a letter of acceptance to Brunel University to study Industrial Design and Technology. Which is exactaly what i wanted
Overall its been very hard but I got where I wanted in the end :)
So I will be packing my things and running off to University soon and I will have lots of time for instructables and making useful hacks/furniture for my dorm room.
So again sorry for not participating much, I'm back now :)
P.s. I took a printer apart the other day and took all the motors out woo I got 4 different ones but i need someone to show me how to plug them in haha a future forum topic :)

Er, you're supposed to have less time for hobbies when you go to university ...
Well done, though - that's a good uni.
and btw, you did not fail at anything. Live and learn, it builds character.
Congratulations, and good luck!
You'll have fun at Brunel, I have friends that went there, it's a nice campus.
