Upgrade?

Do you think Instructables and Brightstar Lasers would or should allow the winner to pay the difference to upgrade to a higher end machine?

I asked Epilog if they were having any contests lol Their response: "The system that Instructables.com is giving away is a very inexpensive laser made by a Chinese company that uses a glass laser tube that needs to be replaced often (every 3 months on average) and provides very sketchy laser quality." I think it's a good entry level model to get started with nonetheless. Could always upgrade on your own or sell it buy something bigger?

Do you mean upgrade the laser itself or to a bigger working area/more powerful laser model?

. It would be nice if they would, but I don't think they should be expected to.

. Personally, I probably couldn't figure out how to use the 3040tt, so an upgrade wouldn't be worth it to me. YMMV.
