Use Arduino to switch AC load while using the same outlet to power the arduino

Hey guys,
So basically I want to control an AC load about 3 amps at 120 VAC plugged into a regular outlet via an android phone.
So Im thinking of having a pass through outlet that I will switch with a relay and an Arduino, however I also need to power the Arduino with the same outlet, a battery isnt very viable because Im going to have a Bluetooth module also.
My question is what is a safe way to do this, how do I avoid feedback voltage when the AC load when it turns on? Will having the AC/DC Arduino converter in parallel with the AC relay okay?
Thanks, I have done quite a few Arduino projects just not any with AC power. :)

What you need is this to switch the AC power on and off.

To power the Arduino from the same outlet you'll need a wall adapter the be on the input side of the cables so its receiving power all the time.
