Videos

Question: I'm trying to write a new Instructable right now and am trying to put three embedded video on one of the steps. The first video shows up fine, but I can't seem to get the next two to work. Is there a limit of one embedded video per step that I don't know about, or is this some sort of bug in Instructables?

Yes I used to have the same problem after embedding one video I wass not able to embed any more videos but how I solved the problem was...

1)Go to the edit screen of your instructables step where you want to embed the video...
2) Then Click Source on the top right corner of the tool bar...
3)Then you will see that there are all sorts of weird things but you will be able to see your lines that you wrote in that step as well and, inbetween those lines you can just paste your embed code and the video will be embedded between those lines!.

Here is an example : (This is the source code)

I made this from some sort of plastic coloured thin pipe type wires I found in my garage, and I made this keychain from this.

Keep in mind that you can make this from anything that is like a flexible wire eg thick wool or shoelaces etc

And also keep in mind that you canuse this not only as a keychain but also as a zip pull to your pencil case or anything with a zip or you can also use this as a decoration in a lot of places.

I also added some zoomed in pictures, but some of them are a bit blurry, because my camera isn't really such a good camera.

(I messed up a little at the hook as you can see)

Then take the embedding code I chose this :

So this is how the source code looked after I added the video after "I also added some zoomed in pictures, but some of them are a bit blurry, because my camera isn't really such a good camera"

If you got one working then you know to use the "old embed code" if youtube.

Unless things have changed, I think there have been multiple videos in a single step. Try to separate the videos with a bit of text. Embed one, see if it works, then move the cursor to a new line past the video placeholder thingy, type some text, go to a new line and place in the embed code for the second. Give it a shot. Good luck.
