Water Recycling with a Hydroponic Bog Garden
Instructables user Biotank posted this excellent Hydroponic bog garden. It's the final step in a series of sewage water treatments, and uses bacteria to clean the water even further so it can be used for irrigation. This system can be combined with a garden for water-loving plants as shown here, or with a fish pond.
While this bog garden isn't likely to fit in your backyard, it's a great example of thinking outside the box to solve the problem of water reuse! Check it out, and get inspired.
What are you doing to conserve or reuse water? What would you like to do?
