tomonto says: Apr 29, 2008. 1:27 PM
please don't bring up old threads unless you have something meaningful to say or ask.
sammyb says: May 1, 2008. 11:04 AM
As a matter of fact I was checking to see if the spell check recognised the word, so it was a useful comment, you unjust man.
Labot2001 says: Apr 29, 2008. 1:30 PM
Seconded; I find it annoying when people do that.

Not to mention he spelled "antidisestablishmentarianism" wrong...
xACIDITYx says: Jun 28, 2008. 8:16 AM
Antidisestablishmentarianism. Onomatopoeia. Supercalifragilisticexpialodocious.
skunkbait says: Jun 28, 2008. 9:39 AM
Pneumanultramicroscopicsilicovolcanaconiosis. Best I remember, that's how it's spelled. That's at least how it's pronounced.

As a matter of fact I was checking to see if the spell check recognised the word, so it was a useful comment, you unjust man. Please tell me how you type small
Labot2001 says: May 1, 2008. 5:50 PM
You called me unjust, yet you expect me to tell you how to type small?

tsk, tsk
sammyb says: May 2, 2008. 12:05 AM
I am sorry sir, please tell me
tomonto says: May 2, 2008. 2:05 PM
you do not need to POST the comment to check, just preview it. no small text for you.
sammyb says: May 3, 2008. 3:31 AM
I am sorry I have learnt my lesson sir, I really want to find out how. Antidistablishmentarinism
Lithium Rain says: May 10, 2008. 7:18 PM
Psssst...Put two commas in front of and after your text

Put two equal signs before and after text to get big

sammyb says: May 11, 2008. 1:39 AM

Derin says: Jun 28, 2008. 5:32 AM

Goodhart says: Oct 2, 2007. 4:15 PM
Um, but in the process did we loose the Preview Comment ? I see it up at the top of the box, but mine doesn't work :-( I get only this in the preview box: undefined
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 3, 2007. 4:58 AM
I get the same thing, my libraby doesn't work either.
Goodhart says: Oct 3, 2007. 7:14 AM
Ok, so maybe a variable name got altered accidentally in the Jscript?

Goodhart says: Oct 4, 2007. 9:59 PM

undefined

nope :-)
chooseausername says: Oct 2, 2007. 7:32 AM
Aaaaaaaaaah ah, interesting.

I wonder if this will also detect grammar errors ...

Oh, seems I've found a bug.

When i write i instead of I, and when I press "change it", it does not change it.

It does not change i into I. =o)
zachninme says: Oct 4, 2007. 5:36 PM
I assume its a bug pertaining to the replacement of things like... Doggs are fun! ...to keep the D capitilized.
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 2, 2007. 7:41 AM
Yes unfortunately, it also does not recognise many commonly used words. Ha! It does not recognise 'recognise'.
fungus amungus says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:08 AM
But it does recognize "recognize"
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:52 AM
Not on mine, it suggests 'reckons'.
fungus amungus says: Oct 2, 2007. 9:00 AM
You must have the more casual spell check, then. :) Just kidding, I was looking at my firefox spell check. Both versions are now valid.
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 3, 2007. 4:30 AM
Oh, I see!
Weissensteinburg says: Oct 3, 2007. 12:29 PM
Very neat.
Kiteman says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:15 AM
Why does it recognise recognize when we all recognise that it's not recognize?
fungus amungus says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:18 AM
Looks to be a British thing. From Merriam-Webster:

One entry found for recognise.

Main Entry: rec·og·nise
chiefly British variant of RECOGNIZE
chooseausername says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:40 AM
So, if British-English language recognises recognise, and if American-English language recognizes recognize, then, I propose that International-English language rekonizes rekonize.
fungus amungus says: Oct 2, 2007. 9:01 AM
Oh, you better rekkignize! All right, both proper and improper (I'll let you figure out which is which) forms of the word are now valid.
Metal4God says: Oct 4, 2007. 4:19 PM
me wll alwas spel RONG LOL
Easy Button says: Oct 2, 2007. 12:30 PM
Didn't it already have it? Well are you using internet explorer? Oh i just saw it cool.
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 3, 2007. 4:53 AM
Yeah, I'm on explorer.
Easy Button says: Oct 3, 2007. 11:52 AM
Use fire fox!
Whaleman says: Oct 2, 2007. 4:02 PM
Cool! Does it recognize "instructables"? (I don't know because I added it to the dictionary I have for Firefox")
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 3, 2007. 4:54 AM
Indeed it does.
Whaleman says: Oct 3, 2007. 7:09 AM
sweet!
fungus amungus says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:09 AM
Ahh, beaten to the punch. I was just coming here to announce this.
Loosewire; SOE Operative (author) says: Oct 2, 2007. 8:54 AM
I waited a while because I thought there was already a topic.
