What are the WORST bands/artists out there?

Ok, There have been a few forums about the best music out there. But what is the worst? What group/artist is the most over-rated?

+infinity. I couldn't agree more, auto tuning ruins music, if you every hear anyone live (mostly Ke$ha & Nicky Minaj) it sounds terrible. how does this happen?

I know isn't it awfull. I haven't heard a ton of newer music but what I have heard is just so blah. It doesn't even sound real. I think the best way to test if a song is good is to listen to a live recording of it. A great song will sound just as good live with one singer some drums and a guitar as it does in a studio recording. In a way I prefer rock songs that have just a couple guitars a lead singer and a drum kit instead of a whole ten member band.

Yup. Orange Lounge is a Japanese band, SPLAY is a Japanese band, and Pee Wee Gaskins is an Indonesian band, although they're very fluent at English and 80% of their songs are in English.

Every rapper
Every country band/singer
Every band that only plays songs from other bands
Almost every band from this decade
Miley Cryus(Not Hannah Montanna because she's the same #@!$&# person with a #@!$&# wig! Gah!)
The Jonas Brothers
The naked brothers band
Bands that every other verse in every song is the same
Bands that think they're all that, wait... I already said Miley Cryus and the Jonas Brothers.
Bands that think rock and roll is evil(and people who think the same thing)
Bands that lip sync
Boy bands(goes under the catagory of bands who lip sync)
Hippie bands
Bands that have like, four back up singers and eight back up dancers
Bands that act like they're the coolest band ever, and anyone who doesn't dress like them, or like there music is *anti-social and a fashion reject*
Bands that are aren't who they say they are (Surprisinly, not the Jonas brothers, they really do suck)
There is most likely a lot more that I don't even know about...

Do I win for longest rant comment?

I agree with your list 90%. All Pop-country is crap, but you need to check out some of the older (and newer) outlaw country. Go to youtube and check out Hank III ( Crazed Country Rebel), Johnny Cash (Cocaine Blues), Old Crow Medicine Show (Tell it to Me), and David Allen Coe (If that Ain't Country).

I think that everyone bashing NickelBack simply has TERRIBLE taste in music. I agree, it can get annoying. But it is a million times better than rap.

Well, I figure it's not specifically aimed at anyone, but in my experience people very rarely have a matching music taste. So it's more saying, music tastes are different.

;-( Moldy Oldies? That stuff wasn't even Classic Rock when I was listening to it! BTW- When I was 16, I had a job at McD.s. All we had was an 8-track player in the back, which we cranked up after hours. I bet I listened to Back In Black 1000 (seriously) times .

Nickelback. I win. I can't believe no one mentioned them yet. Three Doors Down is right behind them, though. Mediocre "rock" is truly the worst thing in the world as far as music goes. It honestly makes me a little sick to my stomach.

Well, I like songs normally, rather then Artists. I like the song by reason of some connection made at the time I first heard it (first marriage).

Hate the Stones???? Well, I'll admit they peaked by '70. Agree with the gangsta rap. I suspect you just haven't heard the right country. I liked most of the outlaw stuff, and there has been a lot of underground and alternative country over the years that's awesome, but the stuff that gets the airplay today...... ****gags***, ***gags again****, ****pukes****!!!!

The Rolling Stones aren't bad, they're just not your taste. Anything coming out of Disney these days is bad - good point!

i have a disney death list: naked brothers band (god, what a horrible name): bomb in the bus jonas brothers (again... 'brothers'): slowly start to snipe them out one by one miley cyrus: mingle with the crowd, and pull out a magnum with a silencer if i missed any disney bands,just assume they'll be in an 'accident' later.

This was part of a Warner Bros revival. They created a show called "Animaniacs" Pinky and the Brain being about the only one that had potential of surviving. And Warner Bros stores did stock a lot of merchandise for a while. It's a bit sad when you consider that most of the best old-skool cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig (?) Yosemtie Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Roadrunner etc.) were Warner, and a lot of the crap ones that no one watches like M Mouse, Goofy etc are propping-up several; theme parks.... L

Some 'actors' from TV soaps can be overrated before they even open their mouths. UK soaps aside there was Craig McLachlan (Sons and Daughters, Neighbours and Home and Away) And Natalie Imbruglia can't sing properly (unless she's had lessons since last I heard her...) L

I dunno. I greatly preferred her as an actress. Although her take on "The Locomotion" was quite infectious. But then again, so are the Measles.
