What can I use this little RC car for?

Does anyone have a use for something like this? I was going to take this wee little car apart for the motor, but I'd hate to destroy it if I can still make something out of the whole body, the wheels and everything should still work. I think the little capacitor in there just went dead or something like that.

add a solar panel!

Well, the motor and wheel turning coils are still in-tact. I've removed the radio control board however, but I'm sure the board probably would run off 1 or 2 of these solar light panels (around 4.3v connected in series). Wanna throw me some ideas how to wire the wee little wires up in this car?
just connect the solar panel straight to the motor, since you took out the board if you want to solder to the wires, hold the wire over a flame, the insulation should burn off

I was thinking of soldering the board back in there, but the only question is, what do I do without a remote? I seem to have lost the damn things.. And it isn't one of those cars where the charger was built into the remote, it came seperate, so I have the charger and no remote.
do you have any other remote controlled toys? sometimes you can use other transmitters, on different toys

This is true.. Most cheap toys operate on 27 and 47 mhz or something around there anyways, and yes I have seen remotes not intended for other cars work. I'm afraid I don't have anything other than my Tyco Rebound
well.... you could go buy another toy car, with the same frequency of operation

Well considering how cheap they are, I will next time I stumble across one at the mall.

Try attaching it to a helium balloon and attach fans to the wheels. Kinda like a blubber bot.

That would be interesting, I've never heard of such a thing
