What does that little star medal in the corner of some instructables mean?

Hi Guys,
A few days ago I was on instructables and I saw that some of the Ibbles had little medals in the corner with a star on them. WHat does this mean?

Thanks,

My Instructable was featured yesterday but I don't seem to have the pro membership "rights". Does it take time for it to take effect?

Thanks
You will get an email or PM with a link to follow and a code to use to activate pro.

That means the project has been featured by one of the Editors or the Community Team.

A featured project earns the author a 3-month pro membership, and it gets linked on the Instructables Facebook page and Twitter feeds.

Featured projects can also end up on the front page, all of which means the project gets many more views than it otherwise would.

How do you get a featured project?
Short answer: make something cool.

Long answer:

General checklist for any featured project:
- title fits and explains the project
- intro step explains reason/motivation for the project
- intro image is informative
- intro image is clear and in
-focus
- project is detailed enough to be repeatable
- project is broken into enough steps
- every step has at least one paragraph of text
- every step has at least one useful picture
- most steps have multiple pictures
- pictures use image notes as needed
- spelling and grammar don't distract
- parts/materials/ingredients list included, with links to sources as needed
- tools list included, with links to sources as needed
- includes links to references as needed
- excellent intro picture
- the author tells a story through the Instructable
- the project is interesting to someone not already familiar with the subject

... and all with that elusive quality of "something cool".
