If I don't win one (I've entered a choice selection of my projects), then I'll certainly buy one. Maybe even an extra one for the school library...
I'm confused - I'm logged in as Kiteman, (it says "Kiteman" at the top of the screen!), yet this came up with Kitewife's avatar?

And I keep getting a note that I have two messages in my inbox, but when I go there it's empty.

And I keep having to sign in every two or three page-changes.

This is one buggy day...

Checks: as I type, it still says Kiteman at the top of the screen.

Dash it, did you break Instructables AGAIN!?!??!?!

Innocent whistle.
Tisk tisk you silly Englishman... going and breaking an American website just because your all huffy about events that happened a few hundred years ago...
Hey, at least I know what day it was signed!

One of the most enduring myths about Independence Day is that Congress signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The myth had become so firmly established that, decades after the event and nearing the end of their lives, even the elderly Thomas Jefferson and John Adams had come to believe that they and the other delegates had signed the Declaration on the fourth. Most delegates actually signed the Declaration on August 2, 1776.

John Adams:

The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.

You know you have made it big on Instructables when you get one of those email's EVERY day. I get about two or three per week. But then again, I have only written one Instructable.
