add proximity/motion sensors to any lamp.
Hello people of earth!
I am making an installation about the Swedish summer. One of the main part of the installation are lights that react to you when you stand close to them. With react I mean, when one gets close enough, the lights should be switched on. if one leaves again, the lights should be switched of.
Do any of you have an idea how this could work? I've been researching the web for ages, but with little result.
Hope to get some feedback!

. You should be able to modify a theremin (or similar circuit) for that purpose.
