airsoft/paintball ideas

i need ideas! homemade airsoft grenades, mines, or anything else that can give you an edge on my next game in the woods.

I have created a rocket propelled paintball grenade launcher (RPPG) that is mounted underneath my tipman 98 that will launch 30 yards using only the air from my HPA tank. The blast area is nearly 10 feet of paint when launched.

i recently figured out how to make a potato gun(shoots potato's at about 60 MPH) and i'm thinking on modifying it into a mortar that shoots a homemade airsoft grenade.

have one to. its 5' 6 tall painted camouflage . i think it can shoot up to 300 yards

Perhaps a laser/mirror at shin height that is used to detect when someone breaks the beam, rigged to send a radio squawk to you or your team, so you know right where someone is? Unlike mines, it would work multiple times, and provide enough intelligence about the enemy's position to give you a distinct advantage. For example, set it up on the only way into the spot you're in, so if someone's trying to sneak up on you, you get advance warning.

I've got a potato gun style airsoft RPG. with hairspray, styrofoam sabots, and a payload of bbs, I get a nice shotgun effect. if I use something more solid, like potato plugs or something along those lines, I get a nice 'bunker buster' kind of shot (we use it to bust any cover in scenario games). If you load a small rock through it, you can rip through cardboard with ease (at a relatively short distance)

Problem is, it can't attached an airsoft gun. Which is OK, cuz RPGs arnt for sniping, they are for blowing stuff up. Bear that in mind, it works great. I'd make an Instructable, but I have no "in the making" photos...

P.S, the rocks work great when your arrogant friend puts cardboard armor around a riding mower and calls it a tank. two shots and he gave up...with a nasty sized welt or two....

Here's an idea. Under barrel grenade launcher. Basicly a 2 Piece of PVC pipe, a valve, Paintball stainless steel tee, and Stainless steel line.

How about this. Something like the fist pack by reckless paintball with some kind of zinger system that returns the pod to the velcro as soon as you let go. also a hopper that opens by pressure switch. THis would cut you reload times down to about 1 second

i got back to working on my ghille suit recently. i also need to but a few scopes,lasers,and flashlights for my steyr AUG and other guns.

I hope you don't use the lasers and flashlights in conjunction with the guille suit. Lasers and Flashlights are only useful in CQC for quick aim, and even then only marginally. They're both like big "SHOOT ME" sings anywhere else
