Its really easy. Here:

USB: http://www.controlanything.com/Relay/Device/R15PL_...

WiFi: http://www.controlanything.com/Relay/Device/R15PL_...

We also have Serial, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and several other communication interface options.

im back and gonna keep triing
I know this question is a few years old, but I've been looking through your profile and found it. If you're still looking for a solution, velleman do some nice kits. here and here, one of them is pre-assembled, and one is a kit and therefore cheaper (And more fun to build). Its a really great kit, if you are in the UK, you can pick it up in maplin, but if not, I think they do worldwide shipping. You simply connect it to a usb port, install their software, and you can control all the outputs with a simple button interface. They even have an iOS app so if you leave the pc its connected to on as a server, you can control the outputs on the go.

does your computer have a parallel port?  if so, it's as simple as 1 resistor (for transistor), 1 transistor, 1 relay (duh), and one diode to protect your computer.  Software is also very easy, too.

If you want more in depth stuff, say you have a parallel port

there are other ways, but this is by far the simplist
