deleteing photos from library that is in use

When you try to delete, you should get a warning message about exactly this.
If you proceed, then the Instructable will be left with a "dangling pointer", which will presumably show up either as the grey hand or some other indicator.
Okay that's a new one for me.
I thought that when you upload a photo, it uploads it to the instructables servers.
I may just have to test this out.
1. sever checks the computer the picture was loaded from every time it loads the picture for display (unethical and not always possible)
2. computer notafies server that picture has been deleted and server deletes picture. (Server has its own copy to do with as it pleases,{figuratively speaking} Computer must be programed to to notify server.
So can you explain why this happens?

You seem to have interpreted the question as referring to the original local version that was uploaded to I'bles at some time in the past. Sorry for the confusion!
