do capacitors like this work?

do capacitors like these:|65%3A15|39%3A1|240%3A1318

work in applications like voltage multipliers, marx generators, etc. Or are they meant for something else? They seem like a really good deal and I just don't want to buy a ton of them to fail on me in like 2 seconds.

seems a tiny bit good to be true... 1uf at 20,000V i'd use it but then again, i'm no capacitor expert

um, 1nF at 20kv, not 1uF I might make a marx generator with them
oh, whoops!

Sure. The limiting factor is the amount of capacitance, which is fairly small.

Ceramic caps are generally very robust for HV application, and cheap to boot. They stink for most audio use, although as the voltage rating rises they become more linear.

okey dokey, I'm going to go for the 2200pF ones
