iPod bug - randomly getting logged out and shut down
I'm browsing the site on my iPod, iOS 5, Safari browser.
Twice in the last ten minutes, the browser has shut down with no warning, and when I re-start it, I have. Been logged out and have to log in again.
This brings another issue, not exactly a bug, but an annoyance - no matter what page I am on, if I use the "log in" button at the top-right of the page, after I log in I always get redirected to the submit page.
Sorry, no screen shot from the iPod, but the last time it happened I was trying to type an answer to the question about CO2 breathing animals.

I had this problem. When I updated to 5.0.1 (and then jailbroke - completely optional quiet obviously), all of my web crashes stopped. Luckily, I understand their diagnostic crash reports that, when you upgrade to 5.0 you can opt into getting. When compared, it made more sense. I'd recommend either upgrading or fresh restoring.

And again just now. Clicking on Goodhart's "Some Perspective" thread kicked me off the. Browser and logged me off as well.
It's kicked me off clicking onto questions, instructables, and when trying to post comments.
I guess it serves me right for being too lazy to wait for my proper computer to start up.

Maybe they are doing updates to fix other problems...nah, it's the weekend, makes more sense to negatively impact users during peak hours on the workweek.
