jrchefs: Kids Can Cook

Shouldn't there be a limit of how many ibles you can post in one day, All the ibles people have put work into are now not seen on the recent feed (The one I've always used), I really don't think this is very fair for other users as the first page is really where people first see it and it gets it's page views. Discuss!

I have my arguments against this, sometimes I happen to finish multiple 'ibles at once and publish them in a day, admittedly the recent feed's moving faster than it ever has but it did this before as well, we all got used to it moving faster... More and more members means more and more 'ibles and so on. There's nothing inherently unfair about the situation, obviously ridding the place of spam's up there but if all 'ibles get the same chance to be viewed, if they're liked by the feature team we feature them and they appear on the home page...

Besides I wouldn't be complaining if I were you, you've been featured before and pleased one of the most discerning of the feature team...

There are too many of them! I can't flag them all! 27! SPAM hunters group, this means we are needed!

This is true, very good idea. (The numbers are going down, too. I just checked and it went from 27 videos to 19)

Not if they post 27 at the same time, and make it so nobody can see the instructables that people actually put work into. Nobody is saying the idea is bad, only the way they posted it. That makes it SPAM.

If they'd turned up looking like they were making an effort it might not be so bad. Dumping a big pile on the site is never good. L
