How micro is micro? Does micro also mean micro power? A bicycle's generator is pretty small to me. The company Freeplay makes toys and electronic gear all powered by small generators.

You could make a small generator using really thin emalated copper wire and small rare-earth magnets, but those will not deliver much power...
