I was watching a home show, "Beyond the Box," and there was a segment about an architect who build a wall-sized bookshelf out of heavy-duty plumbing pipes, wood planks and cable wire (the kind you see on staircases). I only got about a 20-second look at the thing, but it looks wonderful --very funky and industrial, but clean. I've never seen this before and would love to make one for my home office, but have no clue how to do it from that one video. Has anyone seen/built this sort of thing? Can anyone offer advice about how this might work? I'd be grateful for any help you can give.
