speakers v.s. traffic cone (cone design philosiphy)

Iv had this funky traffic cone layn around and recently desided to put an old pair of mp3/pc, speakers in em (two small speakers, think pc fokes). everything was going fine and dandy untill i hit an artistic snag that i refused to look over.

-SHOULD I LEAVE THE CONE ITS BRIGHT ORANGY CONE COLOR OR PAINT IT SOMTHING DIFFRENT.

im leaning tword and idie urban lookn artsy fartsy sort of look, somthin you might see in ready made magazine, or urban outfiters

-BUT WHAT DESIGN, COLOR, OR EVEN LOOK SHOULD I GO WITH OR SHOULD I LEAVE IT

sounds like a plan to me, and yes, its a stand alone unit made of thicker military grade plastic (whatever that REALY means) so no light diffusing propertys worthy of working in any LED's. but iv cut two holes to place speakers and little speaker guards that i cut from the original mesh. any ideas on how to block out eco inside the dome itself, it my understanding that instrumental amps have some sort of barrier for reducing noise or eco? and thoughts?
Look up the other speaker building instructables but you should be able to stuff it with some fiberglass batting/insulation or maybe just a wool or polyester blanket.  Grab a throw pillow to put in there.

Leave it.  I think the plastic/rubber the cones are made of are tough to keep paint on it unless it is primed correctly and used with a matching type paint.  It is slick and flexes.  You would have to drill out some holes for the sound to get out if you have it standing upright.  Maybe light it up with LEDs inside. I guess you could dress it up with stickers or something.  Good luck.
