transparent laptop case

I want to build a laptop from scratch with a clear acrylic transparent case, I'm having an extremely hard time finding a case, and i know they are out there somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get one but it will be a very involved process and cost you lots of money. First you need to design your laptop case in every possible detail using some CAD design software. Then find a company that is able to laser and CNC mill chunks of acrylic using your CAD drawings. Then you will have your custom case.

That was Sony's custom prototype for a press event in China. They also went on to say that chances were very slim that you would see it in stores anytime soon.

So, while agree that it exists, it just doesn't as far as I know for the consumer.

They make clear laptop storage cases... but I can't say that I've ever seen a transparent body for a laptop...
