Digital Fabrication Contest

Instructables is teaming up with Inventables to run a Digital Fabrication Contest. Any Photo, Video or Step by Step Instructable that was made by any kind of tool that runs from a computer is eligible. That means anything you make that involves a laser cutter, a 3D printer, CNC mill, CNC lathe, CNC plasma cutter, embroidery machine and more can be entered in this contest. This contest only runs until the end of the month so document your entry as soon as you can.

The first prize winner in this contest will receive the "Full Kit" from Shapeoko to build a small footprint CNC Mill capable of cutting wood, plastics and metal. The Shapeoko mill has been in the works since 2004 and was just made available a few months ago - we're excited to see what this mill can do.

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to entries from US, Canada [excluding Quebec], UK, China, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia,  Colombia, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, India, and Denmark<. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PT, November 5, 2012.

The winner(s) will be solely responsible for complying with any and all applicable statutes, laws (including, without limitation, common law, if applicable), rules and regulations and for bearing any personal income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, customs duties, or other taxes, fees, insurance, surcharges or other costs relating to receiving, claiming or collecting any prize.
