Welcome to the first ever Instructables Gift Exchange! This Gift Exchange is a way for Instructables authors to share their work with other authors in the real world. Everyone who enters will both send and receive a handmade gift in the mail.
The Gift Exchange is now CLOSED FOR ENTRIES. This post will remain here so those of you who are participating can continue to check in with the forums until it's time to post your projects!
It's been a great turn out, and we're very excited to see what everyone comes up with to share for Instructables' first ever Gift Exchange!!!
Remember, the size guidelines are as follows:
Large (6+ hours/max $50), Medium (3-6 hrs/max $30), or Small (1-3 hrs/max $15)
Instructables are often re-use projects, so there's no lower limit - we've just set a max to keep things reasonable.

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Jul 22, 2010 and Jul 28, 2010 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Gift Exchange. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
