Overview
Once again, the time has come to deck the halls with holiday cheer.
Depending on your particular holiday and personal style, this may mean making and arranging ornaments, covering all horizontal surfaces with candles, greenery, and fake snow, or stringing up enough lights to ensure that your house can be seen from outer space. It's all about how you choose to celebrate the holidays.
Whatever you make, build, or arrange, we need you to show us how you accentuate your home with holiday spirit. So, break out the glue gun, clear up some garage space and for the love of all that's good, keep grandpa off the roof! Just do something awesome to prepare for the holidays, take pictures, and share your mad decorating skills on Instructables.
But wait, there's more! All of the entries in the Homemade Holidays contests will be eligible to win cool prizes, like a sewing machine from Singer, when all of the contests finish up in January.
(Official Rules)
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Dec 1, 2008 and Dec 28, 2008 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Homemade Holidays: Holiday Decorations. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
