Diving into a new project can be scary stuff. There are thousands and thousands and more options to choose from. Which makes it so nice to pick up a kit that provides all the parts and instructions you need to make something awesome. It's like having a friend show you the way.

Now we are asking you to step up and create your own kit for others to build in our Kit Contest. It can be some custom alarm clock, an LED cube, or whatever else you want it to be. To make sure that the kit can be easily made, however, the parts used in your kit need to be from a specific list of parts which you can see at the bottom.

So make something useful, make something goofy, make something usefully goofy. Just be sure to document it and share the instructions here with a detailed list of all the parts that go into it. We can't wait to see what it is!
