We’ve teamed up with Wicked Lasers to bring you this Laser Contest! Show off your skills with a laser to win a seriously powerful laser. Grand prize is the ridiculously bright 1W S3 Spyder III Arctic, the World's Most Powerful Laser.
So how to win it? Submit a new Instructable that involves a laser from Mar. 9 to Apr. 17. Yes, it must involve a laser.
Lasers are very powerful devices that are great fun when used correctly. Be sure to demonstrate that you know how to safely work with lasers in your Instructable. That means using laser safety goggles for a Class 3R laser or higher. Eyes are wonderful things.
So go ahead and make a new Instructable involving a laser. Document your project with lots of great photos and provide clear instructions so that others can learn from your work. We can’t wait to see what it is!
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Mar 9, 2011 and Apr 17, 2011 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Wicked Lasers Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
