Overview

Instructables is running its first Make It Move Challenge! Toy cars, remote controlled planes, walking robots, animatronic toys, Kinect hacks and more. If you built it and it moves, you can enter it!

How to win the Make It Move Challenge? All entries must include original photos. Step-by-Step and Video Instructables are eligible. Each entry MUST include at least one embedded video showing your project in motion. In addition, you must include at least two paragraphs describing how you built it. 

UPDATE: We've extended the deadline for this contest. You have until July 17th to submit your projects!

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to international entries. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PDT, July 10.

Write an Instructable

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Jun 13, 2011 and Jul 17, 2011 (11:59pm PT).

Accepting

Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.

Judging

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
