The National Robotics Week Robot Contest was created to help kids of all ages share their robotics projects and learn from others. Tell us about your simple robotics projects - things that K-12 students could reasonably make while working with a teacher or mentor.

We're giving away lots of great prizes, including robots, electronics kits, software, books, and robot t-shirts to top entries! Projects will also be featured on the NRW website, and winners will be invited to show off their bots at 2011 NRW live events.

What kind of robot projects are eligible for the contest?
- simple robots made from scratch
- robots built from a standard platform
- parts of a more complex robot (a manipulator, sensor, or housing)

Who can enter?
Everyone! To keep things fair, we're giving prizes in three age categories: 12 & Under*, 13-18, and Open (18 - 100).  Please mention your age category in the Intro step.

We're explicitly looking for entries from school, club, and scouting groups - this is part of the National Robotics Week educational outreach program and we want to see your group's robot!

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to international entries. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PST, Mar. 20.
*12 & Under groups must have Instructable published by an adult.
