Overview
Life is hectic and often the weekends are the only times that we can work on any fun personal projects. It's a time when you can get the tools out and just go crazy making something awesome. In honor of this we've teamed up with Zoro Tools for our Weekend Project Contest!
What is a weekend project? Any project that you can finish in a single weekend. So nothing too epic, but there's still plenty of room to make some cool stuff. It doesn't have to take up the whole weekend either. If it just takes an hour or so that's great, too!
As for what type of project, that's entirely up to you. It can be a cool quilt or a new picnic table. Or maybe a bookshelf or a new paint job on some wooden crates. Make anything you want.

So break out your power tools, your hand tools, and any other tool you need to get it done in a weekend and make something great! Just be sure to enter it by August 26th. We can't wait to see what it is!
Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to entries from US. The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PT), July 15, 2013. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PT, August 26, 2013.
The winner(s) will be solely responsible for complying with any and all applicable statutes, laws (including, without limitation, common law, if applicable), rules and regulations and for bearing any personal income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, customs duties, or other taxes, fees, insurance, surcharges or other costs relating to receiving, claiming or collecting any prize.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Jul 15, 2013 and Aug 26, 2013 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Weekend Projects Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
