Cabot Woodcare Contest

It’s hard to beat the versatility, heritage and beauty of wood.  It can be cut and shaped in so many ways - and with a bit of the right stain, the results can look amazing.

So in honor of the mighty stuff, we’re proud to announce the Cabot Woodcare Contest.

From now until October 1st, Instructables and Cabot Woodcare are giving you the chance to win one of two brand new Genesis Grills.  Here’s how it works:

Just submit a new Instructable that covers the creation of a new item with wood or how to take care of an existing wooden item. The only extra requirement is that you use stain (incl. clear finish) on the wood. What really matters is the project and the care you put into it.

Since wood projects can be different for indoors and outdoors, we have a category for each! Each category has its own set of prizes, which means we're giving away two awesome Genesis grills! That's double the chances to win a new grill for that summertime backyard dinner party you've been dying to throw, or just grilling out with a few friends on the deck. Don't worry about entering a category in the contest, we'll take care of that for you.

So get going and make something great. We can’t wait to see what it is – and pretty soon, you may be making something great on a new Genesis Grill!

Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to entries from US, Canada [excluding Quebec], UK, China, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia,  Colombia, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, India, and Denmark<. Contest closes for entries at 11:59pm PT, October 1, 2012.

The winner(s) will be solely responsible for complying with any and all applicable statutes, laws (including, without limitation, common law, if applicable), rules and regulations and for bearing any personal income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, customs duties, or other taxes, fees, insurance, surcharges or other costs relating to receiving, claiming or collecting any prize.
