Make It @ Your Library

Make It @ Your Library is an Instructables Group created by librarians for librarians. The group is coordinated by the Make It Project, a team developed and funded in coordination with ILEAD USA. In partnership with the American Library Association and Instructables, the Make It Project team (formerly known as The LLAMA Project) seeks to bring the best maker projects from Instructables to librarians in order to further the adoption and adaption of maker culture into library culture. We seek to encourage librarians to embrace and promote the processes of exploration, creation, and hands-on learning in their communities.

To this end, this Instructables Group is only the beginning. The team is currently working on developing a website, to be known as Make It @ Your Library, where librarians will find Instructables that are organized and tagged with additional categories of interest to librarians.
