From the beginning over 135 years ago, Popular Science magazine has always embraced and advocated the DIY spirit. Whether you were sending away for kits from the magazine's back pages as a kid, or just recently checking out the latest hacks, tips, and projects in our award-winning How 2.0 section, Popular Science has long served those who strive to do more with their technology.

Naturally, we love Instructables, and this group is a perfect companion to our new How 2.0 Blog. On the blog we'll be presenting a weekly Instructable from this group by our resident hacker Dave Prochnow, along with all the best projects, links, and videos from around the web. We're also excited to feature other projects from the Instructables community, so if you've built something great, add it to our group! We'd love to have it on our site.
