项目本身来源于目前环保主题,由于传统内燃机汽车污染严重,电动汽车必将成为主流,以环保为切入点,进行电动驱动方式的小车设计,电动方式最环保是太阳能,考虑到室内光线问题,最终驱动方式定为风动驱动,本项目的确定综合了多方面考虑,如外形设计,行驶性能等作出要求。

在结构上采用偷轻设计,满足强度的前提下兼顾减轻重量的考虑,保证行驶速度,车架结构采用大量镂空设计;增加聚风筒设计,保证风扇推力集中,提升行驶速度的效果;增加灯光设计,两个幽蓝色的前灯就是蝎子邪恶的双眼,红红的尾灯预示着剧毒无比的毒针,为小车增加无比的趣味;采用三轮设计,结构上满足蝎子造型的轮廓,实际是为车子行驶减少摩擦的设计;由于脱离传统汽车造型,风扇前减少了阻挡物的设计更利于风扇效率的提升;增加导向轮设计,前低后高(两个后导向轮为了避免破坏整体结构,特意增加定风翼),保证车辆在滑道内灵活行驶;在前导向轮支架做出蝎子钳子造型,在车头镂空蝎子图案突出主题。

小车的所有零件均采用3D快速成型机打印,为了保证整体结构的强度,打印参数需要仔细设置,如层高、网格疏密等;因小车由多个零件组装而成,因此各零件的加工精度要求高,参数设置尤为重要。为防止零件重叠部分在打印中出现问题,应对小车各个零件拆散后再进行打印。
