18) Cut another bottom of head and body piece out of thin cardboard or plastic, this is to stiffen the head and body and keep the shape. Insert them into the appropriate pieces.

19) Stuff the head and sew the gap shut with a neat ladder stitch. Make a little pocket full of lentils out of some scrap felt or fleece (see image m), insert into the body and stuff around it. Sew shut with a neat ladder stitch

20) Mark where the base of the neck will go on the body (see image n) and use a ladder stitch to fix into place.
