Basically all you do is fold 2 towels together and sew around the edges and add a loop if you like.
All you need is a sewing machine, and basic sewing supplies, needle, thread, scissors, and a couple of dish towels. These make great gifts.

If you get one check around first. The new ones are junk! Unless you pay for a good one. I have old ones still made of metal not plastic. I also have a couple of my mother's. They all sew good. Sewing machine repairs shops will sometimes let you put them on layaway just so you know. Even some of the sewing machine stores actually.
