My mother hates two things: mice and trash. So I thought it would be a good idea to make something cute involving both.

Sometimes you have a small mouse and you throw it to the garbage. But, using some wire, superglue, a magnet and imagination, you can make beautiful mice that will decorate your fridge.

Feliz Cumpleaños Lucia Langer! Madre, estoy muy orgulloso de ti. Eres la mejor!!! :-)
Happy Birthday Lucia Langer! Mother, I'm so proud of you. You are the best!!! :-)

Step 1: Materials

I used the following stuff:

1 Dead Verbatim mini-mouse
1 Magnet
1 Red flat cable
1 Red wire
2 Screws
2 Iron washers
1 Red plastic half ball (for the nose. i get one from the iTop i used on my last project)
Superglue (cyanoacrylate)

Dremel Rotary Tool

And don't forget:

1. If you don't have it, replace it!
2. Use protective equipment (dust mask and goggles).
3. Beware of drilled and soldered hot surfaces.
4. Work in a good ventilated area.
5. Always have junk in stock.
6. Have fun.
so creative and gorgeous!!!!
Thanks Blissful!!!! :-)
Very nice !…
Now one thing you didn't say ?
Can it open the door fridge by itself or do you have to feed it ?…
Thanks Vincent!
Adorable! especially the tail and the ears.
Thanks Muhaiminah!!! :-)
Forget the mouse magnet (very cute by the way). Would you please come to my house and kill the real one that is causing havock?
Hi Porcupinemamma! Well, sorry. I don't kill animals. But maybe I can use a robot to do this... MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Where do you live?
We tried the live traps, and we waited for a squirrel in our attic to wean her babies and wait till they were independent and leave before we closed up the spot where they got in (we aren't murderers either) but the mouse is eating our wires and will cause a fire-my small house is wood. In this case, I have to choose human life over a mouse :0(
Mmmmmm... did you try to find some rattraps projects?
Thanks Holly!
Very cool and posing it with that 5¼ floppy is over the top !!!

A

Thanks a lot Sunshiine!!! :-)
I made it for my Mom's Birthday!! That's the reason of the Spanish dedication.
I missed that part! I was so excited to see such a cute little mouse that I did not read the intro. Funny though, my subconscious picked it up because something wanted me to reply a little in Portuguese but now I am thinking I should have written Spanish! Give me an E for effort! I too do not like (house) mice but think they are so cute outside! Especially the babies. Your mom will love this! Son's are awesome to have! So are lovely daughters! Please tell her Happy birthday from sunshiine!
Thank you very much Sunshiine!! I will! :-)
You make the cuttest and most fun robots :D
Thanks a lot Penolopy!!! :-)
