Step 7: Childproof Corners

There are few scenes scarier than seeing a child bleeding profusely from the face. Especially if that child is rapidly losing blood in YOUR home.

If you're going to be hosting toddlers, or anyone else prone to running into sharp corners with the tender parts of their heads, try putting tennis balls over the nastier corners. If there's a bit of pipe jutting dangerously into your living space, pop a tennis ball on there. It'll deflect all but the most self-destructive of blows, and it'll give your home that "tennis pro" look that never goes out of style.

Then try again to use that unusual ground coffee trick to stop them from bleeding - just put some ground coffee on source of wound.

I, as an adult, actually bump into the corners of tables a lot, leaving bruises on my hips and the side of my legs. I'm not so sure I'd use a tennis ball, as it looks like it would fall off very easily due to it's circular shape. Nice thinking though!

If I were a kid, the first thing I'd do is run around pulling off all the tennis balls, and I bet your visitors will too. If you're going to have kids over often, get corner protectors.
