This is 10 watt amplifier and LoudSpeaker,
Let me tell you how I make this thing

Part List :

Step 1: Build Loudspeaker Box

I think the result is not bad , 
Ok its bad but not really , LOL

Step 2: Core Part - Tda2003

The TDA2003 is a cheap amplifier that is designed to run on single rail power supplies. It has many applications (including in car systems if you do not need to show off down the high street with your subwoofers!) and is protected against short circuits in almost every way you would think them possible.

Very nice instructable. i only have 1 point of improvement. namely the Cx.

Cx's role is that of a high-pass filter. High-frequency goes trough it to the inverted input of the amp resulting in Treble-Treble=nothing kind of effect (upper frequency limit). 33nf is ok for high-frequency AC testing, but with audio the filter is far too small letting even noise trough and giving the high pitched sounds a almost shriekish sharp end as you become unable to hear it. instead you would want to limit the frequency to be near hearing so it rolls off the treble giving a far greater sounding sound (and little to no noise!)

I myself have settled to using a tiny 4.7uf cap (Positive towards the amp output). It cuts of the frequency just below hearing limit and removes almost all noise i had before. it upgraded my amp from sounding nice to sounding like a classic HiFi speaker.

I big thing i always keep reminding people of is to experiment with these kind of circuits. try different cap vallues and such. oh and if able use metal-film resistors. they do a far greater work then then the generic brown resistors and aren't costly at all.

Ah the potmeter is the Volume control. idea is that 1 connection is to the audio source. the other to ground and the wiper (middle) to the Input of the diagram.

Oh if feeling adventurous play around with the vallue of Cx once you got it working. You can alter the audio quality quite effectively trough it as the one used by most isnt exactly the best. i prefer replacing it with a 10uf cap.

each ICs have different how to use them, to make sure it, you must see the datasheet and make some experiments

j9 is for output (loudspeaker)

j6 is for power input , it has 2 ways : 9v batery (using 9v connector) and adaptor ( using Female jack connector) . They are paralel .

C mean Capacitor , the value of c1 is 100nF(no polarity) and the value of c2 is 1000uF

ok, so you said a 12 volt would make this sound better. it sounds interesting but I would need some help, for the power, do you think I could just use a DC wall wart? or would it have to be AC? (sorry if this is confusing, im kind of new to electronics, i've only been working with them for about a year now) and this project seems like a great idea since I love working with speakers and I always get lots of request to build some for people! (i've gotten a request for a mini ipod speaker for $20!)

Can you please tag which capacitor and resistor are which?? I really want to make this however I can't work out where each resistor and capactior go, and how many of each I need. Good instructable otherwise :)

What resistance potentiometer should i put? 10Kohm or 40Kohm?
Also i seem to have a problem with huge distortions on low volumes. Could it be because of the potentiometer being 10kohm?
Nvm solved it. For anyone wondering i had 2 4ohm speakers wired in paralel. I fixed the distortions by connecting them in series.

Also that what are Cx and Rx for in the datasheet ? there is no description of the circuit do you have any link ?

nice instructable and easy to build too but i have few questions

can someone help me i built it but the output was distorted not too much but it was enough to annoy some one (when the output is at max volume) at lower volume its fine enough.
and when i short the capacitor C2(1000uF) the output gets stable and distortion is reduced (at max volume) but gets distorted at lower volume .
strange but true
anyone who has built it can try himself and what is the solution for low distortion at max and min volume simultaneously.

can you modify it to run on 12 volts or does it need 18 volts because i would like to use it on a robot that only uses 12 volts also what is the maximum wattage it can run
