Please read all , this picture shows the evaporator coils on the inside of the freezer section. the coils you want to clean are accessible from the outside or the back of the refrigerator. they are usually near a fan and if running they are warm. Because of the fan these coils (condenser coils) can collect dust and particularly animal hair, and should be cleaned at least twice a year if you have indoor pets.
