Step 31: Don't use so much detergant

Using more detergent = more rinsing water.

Use as little detergent as you can. Just add a some more elbow grease!

use soap nuts it's organic & non allergic,also leaves good smell , no need of softner.

amen, martian. Also, some home remedies are good for people with allergies and sensitivities. White vinegar is fantastic for cleaning - especially for cleaning glasses that you want to come up absolutely shiny and clear. White vinegar and bi-carb soda are so handy.

Kosher salt works wonders on dried on or burnt on foods in pots and pans.
