Thank you so much for writing this! I remember a news story many years ago about a duck that was so tangled in one of these nasty things that it was dying because it couldn't open it's mouth to eat any more. The night they finally caught it and cut off the horrid plastic rings I actually cried because I was so relieved. Ever since then I have always cut up the plastic rings from six-packs & eight-packs and encourage everyone around me to do the same. Many young people probably didn't see that news story so it's up to people like us to pass it on. Good on ya!
