Step 85Work at home

Work at home
When you can, work from home. If you have a day off, but you need to get something done, work from home.

Take client calls from home, do computer work at home, and all that jazz.

Take home your materials the day before, and plan ahead. But don't take home a laptop with your clients personal information....that usually turns out bad.

In the terms of automotive fuel this makes sense. But for those who walk, use a bus, or ride a bike it doesn't. Think about electricity. The lights are probably already on at work. If you stay home and work, chances are you will have your own light on too. Don't forget you will probably use your computer when it would probably be off. That's using your own electricity instead of your employers.
