Step 86Limit the cars you own

Limit the cars you own

My 3 person (2 adult and one teen) family owns one car (in car crazy California). We never suffer and we are saving enough money to retire a couple of years early. The trick is choosing at least one job near the home (or vice versa). Occasional thought is involved, so it's not for everyone. If we did not want to compromise we could also rent a car about once a year.
