Do that bottles even need to be santiized? I mean, you're using vodka, it will definitely kill 99.9% of the germs.

From another instructable on this site I bought vanilla beans on ebay for cheap, then cut them in half and tossed them in the bottle. only been a month but it is looking and smelling like pure vanilla extract. I'll leave it for another few months to really soak up the flavours!
