Step 5Prepairing the relay and final connection
The relay is simply a switch which is turned on or of by an electrical magnet when you apply current on the coil it operates the relay
but the problem is that the relay coil needs power to work , a good idea is to take the DC of the charger

I assume that you have 4 terminals , 2 for the coil and the other 2 are probably NO. "as they are more popular" but to make sure, test the two connection terminals with multimeter if they were connected so it's NC and it'll work, if not then it's NO and It won't work . you need a relay with NC terminal even if it doesn't have a common terminal "NC-SPST" type. you can find relays at the nearest components store.
